But do they really? No, not really. I&#8217;ve often said, &#8220;It&#8217;s not what you drive, but how you drive it&#8221;; something I&#8217;ve said to many of my student drivers for over six years.<\/p>\n<p>This false belief is largely based on the fact that red cars catch the eye of the police more than other cars. Well, yellow is also very eye-catching but the myth doesn&#8217;t seem to apply to them. Why not? Simply put, red is a sporty colour and a favoured colour for &#8220;sporty&#8221; drivers.
